    • how to plan a mini-campaign that reaches your audience and keeps you safe
    • tools and tricks to get your messages to the right people
    • how to manage your online community.

    About Katie
    Katie Brown ( (Ngāti Raukawa, Ngāti Whātua) is a digital strategist doing social media, communications, marketing, and strategy for local and international organisations. She’s worked in digital channels since the start of her career at Trade Me and now runs her own business Social Good whose focus is on using their digital powers for furthering good mahi for the people or the planet. She led the digital communications for Aotearoa’s All-of-Government response to Covid-19 and has worked with many businesses, organisations and government agencies to deliver high-quality, audience-focused digital strategy. She’s a certified community trainer for Meta/Facebook and loves helping people feel comfortable and empowered in their online spaces.

    This is a Community Comms Collective workshop for not-for-profits and collective volunteers hosted by Volunteer Wellington and supported by JacksonStone & Partners. We are grateful for their support and for our speaker giving her time and talent pro bono.
