How can we change or maintain people’s behaviour through marketing, and truly benefit the communities we serve?
This hands-on workshop will demonstrate how you can create behaviour change through social marketing. You’ll learn the basics of behaviour change marketing and communications, including best practice approaches to achieve behaviour change for social good outcomes.
Learn tools, tips, and strategies to help you:
- develop programmes or services that influence the communities you serve
- target resources effectively and choose tactics that have impact
- create communications and marketing campaigns that resonate.
We are thrilled to have communications expert and social entrepreneur Tracey Bridges lead this workshop. She is a co-founder and director of The Good Registry, a social enterprise that directs consumer spending on gifts towards good causes. Tracey has significant governance experience in the not-for-profit space, including Whānau Āwhina Plunket and the WELLfed Charitable Trust, and is a fellow Public Relations Institute of New Zealand.
Tracey's insights are drawn from international and local practice, and a long career in behaviour change in social marketing, working on projects, including It’s Not OK, Sorted, Like Minds, Like Mine and many more.
For out of towners or those who can’t make it on the day, this workshop will be recorded and shared on our website after the event, along with our other resources.
This is a free Community Comms Collective workshop for not-for-profits and collective volunteers hosted by Volunteer Wellington and supported by JacksonStone & Partners. We are grateful for their support and for our speaker giving her time and talent pro bono.
